Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can sign up online! Learn how to enroll here.

  • We focus on alignment based Vinyasa yoga. The class format includes a warm up followed by sun salutations, carefully sequenced standing postures, backbends and floorwork. Modifications are offered to personalize the practice for each student.

  • We recommend a minimum of 3 months of a consistent yoga practice before enrolling in our teacher training program. If you have a sincere interest in learning more about yoga, you will enjoy the training regardless of experience.

  • That’s okay! Many of our students take the program with little or no interest in becoming a teacher. You will gain a deeper understanding of yoga, explore and improve your practice, become part of the community and build friendships.

  • In order to graduate, you must have fully paid your tuition and satisfactorily completed the training requirements (passing and/or completing coursework, projects, and presentations).

  • Make-up hours are not included in YTT and may be completed at an additional cost per hour with your trainer.

  • Yes! Once all the program requirements are met, you will receive your 200 Hour Certificate of Completion. You are then eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT200 (Registered Yoga Teacher 200). Graduates of the program often begin teaching classes at gyms or yoga studios.

  • Yoga Alliance is an organization that creates nationally recognized standards for yoga teachers and yoga teacher trainings in the United States. Yoga studios across the country often require their teachers to register with the Yoga Alliance.
